Yelp Kansas City presents #BoozeSchool
02.04.2014 – A is for Agave (SOLD OUT)
On Tuesday, February 4th at 6:30, join Yelp Kansas City at Port Fonda for an education in all things Agave.
First up, Brandon Cummins (Tequila Interchange Project + Paris of the Plains Cocktail Festival) will guide students through flights of both Tequila and Mezcal, teaching tasting basics while sharing the importance of maintaining sustainable and traditional practices within the spirits’ industry.
Then, Port Fonda Bar Manager Caitlin Corcoran will lead a lesson in crafting creative Tequila and Mezcal cocktails. Sip samples of some favorites while getting the inside scoop on what makes this award-winning cantina tick. Of course, throughout the event, we’ll be enjoying bites prepared by Chef Patrick Ryan, winner of The Pitch’s 2012 Best Chef award.
Stay late after class for some extra credit: each attendee will enjoy a complimentary cocktail at the bar, while we compare notes and maybe mingle with our teachers – it’s so weird seeing them out in the real world!
Because Yelp believes in small class-sizes, each session is limited to 20 pupils, so enroll early.
This event is SOLD OUT but you can follow along that evening using #BoozeSchool and/or @YelpKC on Twitter!
New classes / dates are on their way!
